How to prepare Bombay Halwa ? Recipe by Anuradha Ramaswamy
Bombay halwa is one of the famous Indian delicious sweet. Every one like its yummy taste.It is a simple and easy to prepare. Below is the step by step process for making Bombay Halwa :-
Corn flour 1 cup
Sugar 1 1/2 cup to 2 cup
Cashew 10 nos
Ghee 1 tablespoon
Food colour few drops / pinches
Mix the corn flour and water in a bowl (it should be watery) and keep aside.
Grease a plate. Take a kadai, add sugar with little water and boil till sugar melts.
Now add the food colour, cashew, ghee and the corn flour mixture and mix well. Keep mixing without leaving until it becomes tight and make sure it should not stick in kadai.
Now turn off the stove transfer it to the greased plate and spread well. Allow it to cool and give shapes and serve.
Can add cardamom for extra flavour and taste
