JEE Advanced 2017 – Entrance Exam
JEE Advance 2017 Examination :
The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017 [JEE Advanced 2017] will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2017 will be final in all matters related to JEE Advanced 2017 and admission to IITs.
Schedule of JEE Advanced 2017
The Joint Entrance Examination JEE Advanced 2017 will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2017 will be final in all matters related to JEE Advanced 2017 and admission to IITs.
The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:

Both the papers are compulsory.
The schedule will remain the same even if the day of examination is declared a public holiday.
JEE (MAIN) 2017 Indian nationals (including PIO/OCI) who wish to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017 must write Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017 which will be held in the month of April 2017. Further information about JEE (Main) 2017 may be obtained from the
REGISTRATION FOR JEE (ADVANCED) 2017 and Eligibility:
The candidate should satisfy each and every one of the five eligibility criteria [see ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPEARING IN JEE (ADVANCED) 2017]. Registration will be cancelled if, at a later date, it is found that the candidate does not meet any of these five eligibility criteria. Registration Portal: Candidates should register for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2017. Registration is only through the online portal where detailed instructions will be provided.

The procedure consists of three basic steps
Step-1: After login, provide the basic data including the choice of the language of question paper (English or Hindi), the choices of the cities for the examination . The candidate will have the option of adding another cell phone number on top of the number/s provided during JEE (Main) registration. Please note that the JEE Advanced 2017 result will be sent to one of these numbers by SMS.
Step-2: Upload the scanned copies of all requisite documents [See 14. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION]
Step-3: Pay registration fee [See 12. REGISTRATION FEE FOR JEE ADVANCED 2017]. Registration fee is NEITHER refundable NOR transferable.

Eligibility Criteria for Appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2017
All the Indian Nationals (including PIO/OCI) must fulfil each and every one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017.
- Performance in JEE (Main) 2017
- Age limit
- Number of attempts
- Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination
- Earlier admission at IITs
