How to prepare lachha paratha? Recipe by Anuradha Ramaswamy
Lachha paratha is one of the famous paratha type. It is very simple to make.The following step by step instruction will help you to make this at your home.
Atta 1 cup
Salt a pinch
Water as required
Mix atta and salt in a bowl and add water little and start mix the same. Sprinkle water and knead well into a soft dough and keep aside for 1 hour.
Take a big lemon size dough and roll slightly, sprinkle ghee and spread and start fold inward by overlapping. And press again and make little thick lachha paratha.
Heat tawa and put this and cook in low flame, when we get bubbles flip on the other side and apply ghee.
Repeat the same until you get brown spots. Serve with any gravy sabzi or pickle.
This is also called as layered paratha as we get few layers.
