Samosa
A samosa, samoosa or sambusa is a fried or baked dish with a savoury filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas, lentils, macaroni, noodles, other vegitables. Pine nuts can also be added.
Inner stuffing
Ingredients
Potato 3 big boiled
Peas 1 spoon
Coriander seeds less than ¼ spoon crushed
Coriander leaves 1 spoon chopped
Green chilli 2 chopped
Salt as per taste
Method
Mix all the above ingredients and use it for samosa stuffing.
Outer dough
Ingredients
Maida 1 cup
Vanaspathi 2 tablespoon
Salt as per taste
Method
Mix all the ingredients together and make dough and keep aside for ½ an hour.
Take a small size ball and flatten it with roller.
Take a knife and cut the edges and give rectangle shape. Now fold from one corner and give triangle shape, make one more fold and give cone shape and keep the stuffing inside.
Apply little water and cover the edges, meanwhile heat oil and fry till it becomes golden brown and serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
