RTE Admission 2019-Tamil Nadu – School education department announce the general public to apply for RTE Admission 2019, Tamil Nadu. Those who are eligible for getting 25% Reservation seats from the Private schools can apply online.

Online Application Start Date : 22, APRIL 2019
Online Application End Date : 18, MAY 2019
Essential Documents for Application
  1. Photograph of Applicant (1400 px X 1671 px, 1 MB)
  2. Birth certificate
  3. AADHAR/ Ration Card of Parent or Guardian
  4. Income Certificate for Weaker Section candidates
  5. Community certificate for Disadvantaged Group Candidates
  6. Disadvantaged group Special Category Certificate

They can apply by themselves or through Internet centers, e-seva centers, Cheif Educational Office or through the Matriculation school which they want the admissions with free of cost. The online counters for RTE applications will be kept open till May 18. For further details read below :-

Right to Education(RTE) ACT

Under the RTE Act, 25% of the seats at the entry level classes in schoolsshould be earmarked for students from the weaker sections of the society.

Application Form for Admission of children of Weaker Sections andDisadvantaged Groups in Private Non – minority and Un – Aided Schools Under RTEAct, 2009 – 25% Reservation.

குழந்தைகளுக்கான இலவசமற்றும் கட்டாயக் கல்வி உரிமைச் சட்டம் – 2009 பிரிவு 12(1) (C) இன்படி அனைத்துச் சிறுபான்மையற்றதனியார் சுயநிதி பள்ளிகளில் வாய்ப்பு மறுக்கப்பட்ட மற்றும் நலிவடைந்த பிரிவினரின்குழந்தைகளுக்கு நுழைவுநிலை வகுப்பில் 25% இட ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் சேர்க்கை கோரும் விண்ணப்பப் படிவம்


Parents can select their preferred school nearby their home, which can bechecked in the RTE-District wise Matriculation School list. Students can alsoupload applications free of cost at the offices of the chief education officer,district education officer, inspector of matriculation schools, and elementaryeducation officers. An SMS will be sent to the parents’ registered mobilenumbers following the application process.

  1. Photograph of Child
  2. Photograph of Birth Certificate
  3. Address Proof
  4. Community Certificate Proof (for Disadvantage Group)
  5. Income Certificate Proof (for Weaker Section)
  6. Priority Category Certificate Proof (for Disadvantage Group (Special Category) )

e-Seva Centers

To use the online service, parents can approach the e-seva centres in theirdistricts or can seek help from the District Education Offices. Parents whoapply for admissions online will receive a confirmation with an SMS, anofficial from the Education Department said.

While the online counters for RTE applications will be kept open till May18, parents can also go to the educational institutions in person and apply, aswell as submit RTE forms.

The State government, in a statement, said that ₹125 crore has been allottedfor students who were admitted under the RTE Act in 2013-14 and 2014-15 and whocontinue studying in schools across the State.

Important Note for RTE Admission 2018 :-

For Weaker Section the total income should not be more than Rs.200000 peryear. If you cross the salary range kindly try to apply Disadvantage Group /வாய்ப்பு மறுக்கப்பட்ட பிரிவினர் option.
